Before
The team needed a list of restaurants and cafes in Kuwait to sell to, and proposals that combine hardware, software and service lines with shipping, support, discounts, payment terms and a manager's sign-off.
An early version was compared with a leading off-the-shelf CRM. That showed what was missing: no visual pipeline, no typed activities or tasks, no automatic status updates and only basic reporting. Those gaps were then closed.
What we built
- Lead records
- Status, priority, POS in use, branches, owning group, contacts and an assigned account manager, with filters for each.
- A prospect list from public data
- Built from public directory data and refreshed from inside the app. Listings that disappear are flagged, not deleted.
- Pipeline and activities
- Drag-and-drop stages from Lead to Closed, with calls, meetings, notes and tasks due in the week ahead.
- Proposal builder
- Hardware, software, service and custom lines with live cost and margin, shipping and support uplifts, discounts, and payment terms that must add up to 100%. Every save is a new version.
- Approval and print
- Draft, pending, approved or rejected, with who decided and when. Customers get a clean print view without internal cost or margin.
