This notice explains what the Octo Solutions website collects, why, and how long we keep it. Octo Solutions is based in Kuwait.

The console

The console on the home page answers questions about how we could help your business. Its answers are written by an AI model. Your question is sent to the model to write the answer.

We log each conversation to improve our answers and to keep the console within its limits. For each question we store:

  • a random session ID
  • a one-way hash of your IP address (we never store the address itself)
  • your question and the answer
  • the AI model used, the number of tokens, the cost and the response time
  • the date and time

When a session ends, our team receives an email summarising its questions and the pages suggested. It contains no contact details.

Please don't share personal details in the console. We keep console logs for 12 months, then delete them automatically.

Cookies

The console sets one cookie, which holds only the random session ID. It's used to apply the limit of three questions per session, and it expires after 30 minutes without a question. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

The contact form

When you send a message, we store your name, company (if given), email address, what you're looking for (if given), your message and a one-way hash of your IP address. The message is emailed to our team so we can reply.

We use these details only to reply to you and follow up on your enquiry, and we delete them when they're no longer needed for that.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not an automated program, is sending it.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify individual visitors.

Your choices
